Purpose
In this role, you will be responsible for managing and supporting the delivery of our content and communications so that they fulfil 7IM’s regulatory obligations and overall organisational objectives. In particular, you will be responsible for our Consumer Understanding/Consumer Duty implementation programme to ensure our content and communications deliver good client outcomes, as well as supporting other regulatory changes that may impact our content and communications (i.e. Sustainability Disclosure Requirements, Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures etc.).
Responsibilities
- Consumer Duty/Consumer Understanding
- Analyse the Consumer Understanding element of the Consumer Duty and create an implementation plan to ensure 7IM meets its regulatory obligation
- As part of the plan, identify communications that fall within the scope of Consumer Duty and work with a third-party research firm to deliver an ongoing communications testing programme
- Playback findings to stakeholders and coordinate any remedial work in a prioritised manner to ensure communications are delivering good client outcomes
- Content and Communications
- Proactively work with the team and/or wider stakeholders to support the production of new content and collateral with a key focus on ensuring that they are delivered in line with our regulatory obligations. This will range from brochures and sales aid to presentations and web pages, and everything in between
- Proactively review our existing content and collateral (brochures, sales aid, due diligence documents, FAQs, presentations, etc.) on a regular basis to ensure they are kept up to date and continue to meet our regulatory obligations.
- Support the delivery and execution of any other regulatory changes that may impact our content and communications – this will range from producing any necessary external content (i.e. reports) to creating an implementation plan
- Additional and ad hoc responsibilities:
- Be proactive in responding to incoming queries
- Be on hand to assist other members of the Content and Communications when required
- While not directly interacting with customers, your actions should align with upholding the FCA's Consumer Duty principles, thereby contributing to fair and beneficial outcomes for our clients.
