Role Overview:
The Senior Marketing Manager – Intermediary will be responsible for leading the development, planning, and execution of targeted marketing campaigns to engage intermediary audiences, including Independent Financial Planners and Paraplanners. This role requires close collaboration with senior stakeholders within the Intermediary businesses, business development teams, the wider marketing team, and external agencies to drive strategic marketing initiatives and enhance 7IM's brand visibility (with a strong focus on our Platform business) within the intermediary market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Campaign Development, Planning & Execution:
- Develop and implement integrated marketing campaigns that effectively target intermediary audiences.
- Collaborate closely with business development teams to align marketing campaigns with growth objectives.
- Ensure campaign messaging, tactics, and execution are consistent with 7IM's overall marketing strategy.
- Work with external agencies and internal teams to ensure campaigns are delivered on time and within budget.
- Monitor campaign performance and optimise strategies to maximise engagement and effectiveness.
- Strategic Planning & Insights:
- Work closely with the Marketing Insights Manager to define and refine campaign plans based on market intelligence and data insights.
- Utilise insights to shape campaign messaging, channels, and targeting strategies.
- Stay informed of industry trends and developments to ensure campaigns remain relevant and competitive.
- Content Supervision & Management:
- Oversee the development of marketing materials in collaboration with the wider marketing team and external agencies.
- Ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines and is tailored to intermediary audiences.
- Provide strategic direction and feedback on content creation to ensure messaging consistency.
- Overseeing and ensuring Financial Promotion rules are adhered to.
- Event Marketing & Coordination:
- Support the planning and execution of events such as seminars, webinars, and conferences aimed at intermediary clients.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure event success.
- Integrate event marketing efforts with broader campaign strategies.
- Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration:
- Act as a key liaison between the marketing team, senior stakeholders from the intermediary businesses, business development teams, and external agencies.
- Ensure marketing initiatives are cohesive and support overall business objectives.
- Maintain strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
